David is a Digital Evangelist and Catalyst for Change. He is here to help accounting firms grow their Client Accounting & Advisory Services practices. His sage advice is that the future of accounting is all about real time information. He uses his new website as a starting point to help firms determine how to put together a “Tech Stack” so they spend more time doing the higher value work of Advisory Services. The future of accounting will be about helping clients to be more liquid, solvent, and profitable.

David is both a graduate of CUNY Baruch College and LIU C.W. Post where he obtained his Masters. He is on the BDO Alliance’s Partner’s Advisory Council, and is an adjunct college professor. In the past, he has served on the AICPA Top Tech Technology Team. He’s also held high-level positions at the Top 3 accounting software providers, has been an IRS Chief and member of their speaker's bureau, and is the past chair of the FICPA Technology Committee.

Avalara named David to their Accounting Top 100 Social Media Leaderboard for 2018. Accounting Today listed him as one of their Top 100 Most Influential People in both 2015 and 2017. Additionally, in 2018, Val Steed, CEO at K2 Enterprises, LLC, added him to his Top 15 Accounting Technology Executives of all time.

David received the "Brand Ambassador" award from Enterprise Worldwide in 2012. Also, in 2011, he was the recipient of the “On the Edge” Innovation Award from the Leading Edge Alliance, which recognizes industry leaders for their vision and significant contributions to the accounting profession.

David speaks regularly on the topics of: Firm of the Future; Growing and Automating Your Firm; Standardizing Your Tech Stack; and How A.I. and Blockchain Are Affecting Accounting.
