Bill Sheridan, CAE, CPT is a knowledge hunter, content creator, and lifelong learner. As chief communications officer for the Maryland Association of CPAs (MACPA), he created and authors the association’s acclaimed blog, CPA Success; he created and hosts the MACPA’s weekly “Future-Proof” podcast; and he manages the association’s member communications and numerous social networks. He was named one of Accounting Today’s “100 Most Influential People in Accounting” for 2016.

In 2010, Bill was named a Certified Association Executive by the American Society of Association Executives. The designation certifies that he has studied and practiced every aspect of association management.

Bill speaks regularly at national conferences on the future of the accounting and finance profession, the strategic uses of new technologies, and the evolution of communication, collaboration and education. He delivers frequent presentations on behalf of the Business Learning Institute and is a certified Insights to Action strategic facilitator.

Bill is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, and earned the Certified Personal Trainer designation from the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2017.
