Communicating with Botkeeper

Deployment and ongoing service-related matters are communicated within the work module of the portal.

  • Task types vary depending on the kind of information requested:
    • Document Upload Request: used when a partner or client has identified that they will be responsible for uploading documentation such as a bank or credit card statement or related check images to the portal. A document upload request will automatically be stored in a pre-selected folder upon marking the task completed. To see this file, navigate to the designated folder within the Documents module.
    • Financial Institution Connection Request: used when securely establishing or re-connecting a connection between a financial institution and Smart Connect. You can create and manage financial institution connection requests within the Smart Connect module of the portal.
    • Password Credential Request: used to securely gather a set of third-party credentials to another system and store the credentials in the Password Manager module of the portal. You can create and manage password credential connection requests within the Password Manager module of the portal.
    • Custom Request: this request type is for any questions or requests outside the above stated task types.  
  • If a partner has been assigned a task and needs to follow up on it, they can do so by leaving a comment on the specific task and @ mentioning the point of contact using the following as a guide:
    • @deployment for deployment related inquiries
    • @accountant for accounting related inquiries
  • If a partner has the need to communicate with their team on a matter not already addressed with a portal task, they can do so by creating a Custom Request task and assigning this task to the point of contact using 
    • @deployment for deployment related inquiries
    • @accountant for accounting related inquiries.
  • The primary partner point of contact, identified during the scoping process, will be assigned to all tasks and documentation requests 
    • Note: you can specify an additional point of contact during scoping, specifically for bank statement requests and/or Accounts Payable task assignments
