Documents tips, tricks, and troubleshooting
Running into an issue? Here are some common troubleshooting issues and some tips and tricks for getting the most from Documents.
I want to add a document or folder, but am not seeing the "Add New" option in the upper right.
Some Documents areas do not allow you to add folders or files, including the Clients level of Documents. The Bank Statements folder does not allow subfolders, and file uploads are limited to the Bank Statements->Account->Year level folder.
I can't find a client's Documents folder.
If you don't have access to the client, you cannot access their Documents folder.
I can't find a previous version of a file.
Open the file and click the blue Version History text in the upper right corner. All available versions of the document will be shown here, just scroll to find the one you need.
I can't upload a file to the platform.
Only supported file types can be uploaded to the platform. If the file you want to upload is an unsupported type, the system will not allow an upload.
