Botkeeper’s platform integrates with your clients’ Quickbooks Online or Xero general ledger only. Botkeeper can access data from your clients' 3rd-party apps integrated into the GL and sync it to the portal as needed.
Botkeeper’s platform integrates with your clients’ Quickbooks Online or Xero general ledger. There are no other applications that Botkeeper currently integrates with. If your client is using a 3rd-party application that is already integrated with your client’s general ledger, Botkeeper’s platform will have access to the data and will sync it into your client entity’s portal as necessary. For example, previously posted transactions from third party transactions may be seen in the Processed tab of Transaction Manager. Botkeeper’s machine learning references all transactions posted to your client’s general ledger whether they be done by Botkeeper’s machine learning or someone from your client entity, your firm or the Botkeeper team that manually posts a journal to your client entity’s books.
With Botkeeper’s tech and team approach there are 3rd party applications that we can reference to ensure your clients’ monthly bookkeeping is staying up-to-date and accurate. Please reference this link to review the 3rd-party applications we are currently referencing to support existing client’s bookkeeping. If you do not see your client’s 3rd-party application in the listing it does not mean we are not able to support your client or their 3rd-party application. We would encourage you to reach out to your Account Manager, Learning Enablement lead or your Accounting Expert before your scope and deploy this client in the platform to review and determine how we can best support your client’s 3rd party application.
Note, Botkeeper is not responsible for managing the 3rd-party applications, but may access them to gather recurring reporting to ensure our client’s general ledger is staying up-to-date by manually posting journal entries and reconciling the two systems for accuracy.
Alternatively, Botkeeper may be processing vendor invoices via the 3rd-party application Vic.ai. In these instances, Botkeeper will not be processing any payments on behalf of your firm or your client entity. The responsibility will remain with your firm or client entity.
