Why am I seeing a banner stating I am disconnected from the accounting system?

A banner will display across all pages of the system in the event of a general ledger disconnect.

A banner will display across all pages of the system in the event of a general ledger disconnect.

Below are examples of the two disconnection banner types the system will use to alert you that your general ledger is disconnected. The first (new connection) is upon your initial deployment of a client and the second (existing connection) is if your client becomes disconnected at any point in time after the initial connection has been established.

You'll need to click the Connect/Reconnect button and follow the steps below:

Connect GL (QBO & Xero Clients only)

In the client Details tab of Portal Manager, click on Edit in the Accounting Software tile on the right side of the screen.
